Ethiopian Cargo & Logistics Services Wins ‘Best Cargo Airline-Africa’ at the Maiden Arabian Cargo Awards
Ethiopian Cargo & Logistics Services, the largest air cargo network operator in Africa has won the “Best Cargo Airline-Africa” award at the Arabian Cargo Awards, held for the first time in the Cargo category, on October 24 in Dubai, UAE.
Ethiopian Airlines won “Air Cargo Industry Customer Care Award 2022” for the second time in a row, in recognition of its excellence across a wide range of activities in the global air cargo industry. The award was given virtually during Air Cargo Weeks Award program held in Shanghai on June 15,2022. Qatar Cargo, Saudi Cargo, United Cargo and KLM Air Cargo were among the shortlist of the category.

Ethiopian Airlines, the largest aviation group in Africa, is pleased to announce that it has received IATA’s Center of Excellence for Independent Validators in Pharmaceutical Logistics (CEIV Pharma) certification as an airline and ground handling in December 2021. Ethiopian Airlines is the first airline in Africa to receive the CEIV pharma certification. Achieving this great milestone will further improve our goal in providing efficient & effective transportation of pharmaceuticals throughout our pharma network including Brussels, Shanghai, Johannesburg, Paris, Seoul, Lagos, Lusaka, Beijing, Hong Kong, Maastricht, Chicago & Addis Ababa.
